Well Wednesday was a busy day with 2 appointments back to back in different sections of the hospital. Got early to neuro and found out she was running late so I popped over to the pulmo appointment. We got inearly to see pulmo.Pulmo wants him to have the sleep study and its a must to follow up with cardiolgy. I explained how his O2 can just drop for no reason and I was happy Finnian had a few destats while the doc was looking at him. We got to neuro and went over all his meds and in a way feeling out where to go next. So the decision is for him to get the nissen and hopefully at the same time to have a muscle biopsy and another spinal tap done. The reason is now he is showing other symptoms so lets see if anything will show. Honestly I am for it check it out to rule it out so we can move forward.
Today at the ENT his tubes are looking good so unless he has a problem they should fall out in about 6-12 months. He wanted to know whats was going on with Finnian so told him. He said that because Finnian no longer has his tonsils or anenoids htere could be some issues. Hey his tonsils were an issue when they would swell and he wasn't even able to swallow his own saliva and if he threw up when they were bad he had aspiration issues also since getting the buggers our his ears have been pretty great. To me it was the right move it has cut down on him being sick. Yeah now with other things popping up it could change treatments but it was the best for Finnian at the time and that is what counts.
