Seizures and a diagnoses

Well since Monday we have seen a wide varity and a huge number of seizures. His O2 and his heart rate have been all over the place. We now dont go anywhere without and cylinder of O2 even in the house. Well its not measels, rubella, or strep what he did test positive for was EBV and the final diagnoses my nearly 6 year old has Mono. Mono can cause a measel like rash without taking antibotics so that explains the rash but the biggest question is where did he get the Mono?
Well you know we won't dwell on the would have, could have, should have but the diagnoses does explain the incerase in seizures and why he was sleeping so much. The other night between the seizures and his movements it was hard to tell them apart so he ended up getting some diastat to quiten everything down.
Friday his heart rate was all over the place and it was a bit freaky cause my little lad heart rate went all the way up to 283 so that was a bit scary so I checked it out and the Mono can cause his heart to act out of whack. He ended up on oxygen as he wasn't keeping his stats up above 92 on his own. Hurry up and get better Finny.
